Final Thoughts

I was very aprehensive about this course because I feel so behind with technology. I ended up learning a lot, but felt like it was too much at one time and that I really didn't have time to master or become comfortable with everything. I know that I want to get back to Flickr and get those photos organized. Perhaps, because they were under the "Play Time" section, I really think I will use generators to promote the library, books, authors, contests and events. I also want to get back to LibraryThing and begin using it. I love being organized. I definitly would participate again. Like others, I would like to spend more time on each lesson, not so much all at once and be able to communicate to others working on the same lesson I am. Thank you to Kiera for all she has done, this was a hugh thing. I must say that I was able to impress some 20 something daughter, neices and nephews who were clueless about technology vocabulary that an old lady was using.

You Tube

You tube would be a useful tool to introduce areas of study to get students interested and excited about new subjects or recent current events.

RSS feeds

This was tough. I am not sure I will use this. Maybe with more time to explore and practice. I cannot figure out how to get the feeds to this blog.

Generator

Generators are really fun. I can see using them with instruction and to highlight literature, authors contests and events.

I really liked learning about Flickr and how to use it. I still need to practice. One goal I had for the summer was to organize photos. Flickr will be a great help.

Wow

I am very nervous about all this. A constant worry is that I am not doing things correctly. I do enjoy learning and hopefully improving my skills with new technology. Here's to another journey for me.
